Our dream and goal here at Power For Life Ministry Inc. is to help people come to understand the importance of being well balanced. Spiritually, Mentally, Physically, and Financially. How they interlock one another and become one in strength and power. It is to help in their overall well being. That they can become all that they ever wanted to be. To live their dreams and achieve their goals in life! We believe that the bible teaches us that we are all called to do the work of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also believe we all have gifts and talents that are to be used, that through people the work of the Holy Spirit will draw others to salvation!
Part of this Outreach will able us to use the gifts and talents that have been given to us in the sport of powerlifting. Not in a competitive way though, But in a charitable way! Where there is a need. To hold benefits and fund raisers to help others with a cause. We also look forward in having other sporting and athletic events for charitable causes!
Our quest is to help others! (Period) In hope that they may come to understand why Jesus Christ came to die and now lives. That He can and will live in people who believe and trust in Him! That they can achieve their dreams and goals in life, that Jesus Christ can be glorified and praised for the work that He has and will do in them!
Power for Life Ministry Inc, has committed ourselves to a project we are now calling, Power for Life Community Park! This is a place for all to enjoy!. With a Skatepark plaza and a competitive field for national and international competitions to be held. To be put in the City of Fulton New York or the outskirts of the city! It is our vision and dream to have it open for the public and community to use and enjoy. Where skateboarding, BMX biking, inline skating can be used and enjoyed by all. We also look to have an outdoor fitness park that will help in the aide of a persons overall well being! Where the community can go to walk, jog and train on outdoor fitness equipment that will help in their overall well being!
Power For Life Ministry Inc. is also looking forward to put in a fitness center (Gym) for the community as well. Where there would be modest dress and standards that would be met by members. It would be a Christian fitness center and Gym! An atmosphere with gospel and worship music. A place all can come to workout and enjoy. A place that people can focus on their walk with God and not have all the other distractions. Where the believer in Christ Jesus can call home for all their fitness needs. We really want to help people, to know and understand that all things are possible. To live their dream and calling. To be able to believe in who they are in Christ Jesus. As they achieve their dreams and goals in life.
I have been blessed with over 30 years in the fitness and health field, as a coach, trainer,and competitor. One of the gifts God has given me is in the power and strength area. He has blessed me with three New York State Powerlifting Championships, One IPA World Cup Title, and one USPF Sub-Master National Powerlifting Championship Title. We feel called to go into schools, churches, youth groups and places that have a need. To speak about lifes issues. In a way that would benefit the group that is listening.
