Warm up with just the bar. Keep tight and squeeze every muscle just as if you had a lot of weight on the bar. Every time you get under the bar, squeeze every muscle and keep real tight. Pulling your abs in tight as well. You want to stay solid. The way you breath also helps in staying tight and solid. Taking lots of air in through your nose. Filling you lungs with air, not you stomach. Hold your air on the way down and also on the way up. Let the air out as you reach the top of the squat or bench press. This will help in staying tight and solid. If you was to let your air out to much to soon, and started to stick on the way up, you may not be able to have the solidness to complete the squat or bench press. Staying tight and solid is a huge key in pushing max weight.
