
Franklin McQuaid & Josh Pierce Stand with the Great, And the late Anthony Clark. I was able to meet Anthony Clark at the 1998 IPA world cup at York Barbell . At the time he was the record holder of a 800lbs Bench press. I was able to watch as he tried to break his record with an 805lbs attempt.

I was able to meet with Louie Simmons at the IPA world cup meet. I won it. This was the first IPA world cup meet in 1998. I know longer compete in the IPA. This was my fisrt and last IPA Meet.

I had the privilage and honour to talk with the GREAT Kept Kirk Karwoski. A true gentleman and Champion in every aspect of the words!

Above Franklin McQuaid & Juan Collazo talk with Matt Richards of Ohio at the 1998 IPA World cup at York Barbell Hall of Fame meet. Matt who was 75 year old set some great world records. Matt had a squat of 440lbs and a bench press of 325lbs. His deadlift was 450lbs. Matt told us he never touched a weight untill he was 58 years old. The thought came to himself one day that he needed to get in better shape. Went to a gym and took up powerlifting.
 
Upper right I did a 215lbs bench at 127lbs body weight. On the left was a 225lbs attempt. That one did not go! There is always another day! This was at the 1998 IPA World Cup at York Barbell Hall Of Fame Meet.

Above was my 340lbs squat at 127lbs body weight. This was at the 1998 New York State Powerlifting Championships.

Rick Harvey makes it clear that his squat is deep. He was squatting 500 plus pounds and took 2nd at the USPF Nationals in Buffalo N.Y.

Juan Collazo From Fulton N.Y. waits as he is excited about breaking his own World record in the Bench press. Juan benched a 275lbs bench in the 181 masters class. Juan is 61 years old at this meet. Today at 69 Juan is still lifting and setting records.

62 year old Juan Collazo squats 420lbs at the 1999 USPF Master Nationals in Buffalo N.Y. Juan took first place at thes meet. He lifted in the 181 class.

At 11 years old Franklin McQuaid played with the Westville Little League Lions Club out of Westville N.J. They became the 1970 Little League Champions! Can you find him?
