8) Rich & Jenn DeMartino: Twenty six years ago God called them to serve as full-time Assemblies of God missionaries. They were a young couple with three small children. The cry of their heart was "God, don't allow us to waste our lives. They asked God to use them however He wanted and wherever He want." By faith, they resigned thier church in Edwards, NY, where they had been pastoring for almost three years. They began to prepare for missionary service in Latin America. In 1987 They left on a cold snowy December night from Syracuse, NY to study Spanish in Costa Rica. After a year in language school we served for six years in Paraguay, South America. For the last twelve years they have served in Mexico. Almost twenty six years later, they can say that this has been a journey full of challenges, surprises and miracles. They have seen the mighty hand of God save lives, heal broken bodies, deliver the oppressed and possessed, fill souls with His Holy Spirit and call young men and women into full-time ministry. It has been quite a ride! Their children are all grown now, so it's just the two of them. They are committed to foreign missions, and will serve as long as the Lord allows.
